Account Manager Job Description:

 

Working in the Operations Department at a Major Firm, you will develop financial plans customized to the needs of your mass affluent clients through a wide range of solutions and services. Instead of spending your time sourcing new clients, you will engage with existing clients, allowing your focus to remain where it matters the most: cultivating relationships and providing investment solutions.

Expertise

  • Previous success in building relationships, uncovering needs and recommending solutions
  • FINRA Series 6, 7 & 63 licensed; Series 65 or 66 licensed and appropriate state registrations OR ability to acquire series 65/66 upon hire
  • Degrees and/or other professional certifications such as a CFP are helpful; but not required.

  • Being coachable, collaborative, and curious are your "go to" attributes
  • Outstanding consultative selling and organizational skills
  • In a team-based, fast paced environment you take initiative and exceed expectations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, phone sales skills and relationship building abilities
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Google Products and/or Databases such as Salesforce, Zoho or Hubspot

Requirements

  • Series 6 License
  • Must have no more then One(1) disclosable event on your U5 and must be greater then One(1) year old
